Conducting scientific research to support sustainable fishing, farming, aquaculture and renewable energy.
The choices we make--how we grow our food, fish our oceans and get and use energy--matter. Global challenges of climate change, population growth, pollution and loss of biodiversity call for new approaches in the way we manage our natural resources.

CFF
RESEARCH IN THE SCHOOLS
CFF's “Turtle Tagging Project: Tracking Loggerheads in the Atlantic Ocean" gives high school science students the opportunity to participate in an ongoing research project on the protected loggerhead sea turtle.
Students will "adopt" a turtle in CFF's 2019-2020 studies to monitor its location, habitat, foraging behavior and more. They'll apply STEM concepts learned in the classroom to an active research study.
SUSTAINING SEA SCALLOPS -
A DOCUMENTARY FILM
Our feature film, Sustaining Sea Scallops, is now available online!
Watch the documentary then learn how the collaborative research model embraced by CFF helped a flagging scallop fishing industry rebound.
