ABOUT TAYLOR
Taylor earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology from UMass Amherst in 2018 with a concentration in marine and coastal sciences. Throughout her undergraduate degree, she participated in several internships including research on humpback whales in Massachusetts, monitoring of loggerhead sea turtles in Florida, and training as a scientific diver in Indonesia. In 2020, Taylor completed a master’s degree in Marine Conservation at the University of Plymouth in the UK, focusing on science communication and the public perception of sharks in the media. After her master’s degree, she became a NOAA At-Sea Monitor and joined the CFF team in October, 2021 as an ASM trainer. Taylor is very passionate about the health and sustainability of the marine world and is very excited to share that passion with like-minded individuals while supporting the ASM program.
