CFF at the Maine Fisheries Forum
CFF, Acbotics Research, and Lowell Instruments exhibited a joint fisheries technology display at the Maine Fishermen's Forum.

The display highlighted the collaborative efforts by Acbotics Research to engineer tools that can interface with Lowell Instruments remote transmission data hub for use by CFF, other researchers, and fishermen to supplement survey data.
The Lowell Instrument's deck box was originally developed for the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) eMOLT program for transmitting bottom water temperature to NOAA, and can now integrate with a custom built multi-sensor sonde and photo-capturing measuring board to streamline data collection in remote settings and transmit the data to an open access platform in near real time.
There was a lot of interest from fishermen, field researchers, and aquaculturists about working with CFF to incorporate these technologies into their work.
