MARINE SURVEY EQUIPMENT

CFF's extensive portfolio of research and survey equipment includes: dredges, nets, highflyers, temperature and depth sensors, tilt sensors, tensiometers, motion compensated scales, underwater lights, and various cameras with mounts and underwater housings.

In addition to these survey tools, CFF owns (and leases) a network of vessel-based computers and satellite transmission hardware which facilitate research in data collection and fishery management solutions.

CFF has partnered with international software and data transmission industry leaders to develop custom designed real-time fisheries catch data collection software that is both appropriate for our fishing industry partners, as well as robust enough to meet scientific standards. This vessel monitoring system continues to be tested and utilized at-sea by scallop vessels.
