Join a Beach Cleanup this Spring!
Funding received from the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries

We’re excited to share that CFF has received a funding award from the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries (DMF) to support a shoreline marine debris removal project, and we invite you to be a part of it.
This project will focus on removing abandoned, lost, and discarded fishing gear (ALDFG) such as monofilament line, rope, nets, and trap components that may pose ongoing risks to coastal habitats and wildlife.
With support from local fishermen, students, and community volunteerism we’ll be cleaning shorelines, documenting debris, and turning collected data into an educational storyboard to raise awareness and strengthen local stewardship.
We have three cleanup events scheduled:

These events are rain or shine, please come prepared for the weather.
Cleanup equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided as well as snacks and water, and a first aid kit will be on-site.
