Scallop Science on the International Stage

CFF Presents at the AGU Ocean Sciences Meeting

March 17, 2026

CFF Research Biologist, Andrew Corso recently presented some preliminary findings from his RSA-funded project on the long-term dynamics of larval sea scallops at the AGU Ocean Sciences Meeting in Glasgow, Scotland. With over 6,000 participants, it's one of the largest gatherings of marine scientists in the world. The research poster was developed in collaboration with partners at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and Coastal Ocean Vision.

Andrew had a fantastic time engaging with new colleagues and reconnecting with old friends. He also ran into our frequent collaborator Erin Fischell with Acbotics Research, who had a booth there showcasing some of the technologies CFF is developing through our CDS project.
