Today is Global Recycling Day.
Here's how you can help.
March 18, 2026
Marine debris doesn’t begin in the ocean, it begins with us. Thoughtful waste management and responsible recycling are simple but powerful ways to protect coastal habitats and species like sea turtles.
At CFF we are working towards responsible stewardship and maintenance of the planet. This includes keeping our oceans free of debris and other pollutants. Following our recent funding award from the MA DMF, we’re excited to share the dates and locations for our upcoming shoreline marine debris removal events.
Join us as we remove abandoned, lost, and discarded fishing gear (ALDFG) and document what we find to support outreach and education efforts.
