CFF's extensive portfolio of research and survey equipment includes: remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), stationary and towed underwater optical survey equipment, dredges, and nets. Our survey gear can be equipped with temperature and depth sensors, tilt sensors, and tensiometers.

Deep Trekker DTG2 Smart ROV
Acquired in 2015, this compact ROV boasts sensors for auto-heading, auto-depth, temperature, heading, pitch, roll, and camera angle with an integrated LCD screen controller. Weighing less than 20 lbs, this ROV is fully portable and easy to deploy from large and small vessels. CFF has used this ROV to film loggerhead sea turtles, investigate benthic habitats, and explore ship wrecks.
